Inaugural Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition

This Christmas Bakewell Town Council had their first 'Best Dressed Christmas Window' competition in recognition of the incredible amounts of effort put in by our businesses which add to making Bakewell a very special place to be at Christmas time.

Judging was very challenging as the standard was extremely high with so many businesses bringing out their creative flair by showcasing what they are all about in a wonderful festive way.

After a lot of debating the judges agreed that the winner would be Birdsong that encapsulated the spirit of the season with great charm. Second and third prizes go to Smartbuy with its lovingly arranged and curated window and Bamboo with its charming pine edging and tasteful product display.

The judges also decided that a special 'Christmas window Showstopper' award should go to CW Sellors as they'd pulled out all the stops in what is an eye popping frontage to their shop.
