Car Parks and Parking

The Town Council does not own, operate, manage or licence any car parks in Bakewell

Parking enforcement matters and parking fine issues are not within the remit of the Town Council and correspondence should be addressed directly to the relevant operator or body.

Car Parks

Car parks at Granby Road, Market Place, New Street and the Agricultural Business Centre are the responsibility of Derbyshire Dales District Council

Car parks at Bakewell Bridge and Smith's Island are privately owned and operated.

Derbyshire County Council is responsible for the enforcement of parking restrictions in Derbyshire, there's more detail on their civil parking enforcement page.

Parking related Traffic Restriction Orders

Derbyshire County Council's website has a map based portal which allows you to find parking related Traffic Regulation Orders across the entire county. The portal shows any static parking restrictions that are already in situ or being advertised as new or an amendment proposal for a Traffic Regulation Order.
